The weeky 'Top 10' ranks the top ten impacts on the week as decided by the front office. See if you made it this week! Descends from number one to ten.
Wrestling mainstay for nearly thirty years, Raging Dead decided the Alberta Wrestling Federation was where he was going to make one of his final statements. After the 13-minute brawl against Rockstar Spud which in the end saw Raging Dead getting his first win under the Alberta banner and won match of the week, he's so far backing up his promises. Bret Hart himself named him the current frontrunner in the World's Championship affair. And this is why he sits at #1.
Commissioner Booker has gone on record to name Lieutenant Andorra as his dark-horse favorite to win the entire tournament and become the first AWF World's Champion after his bout with Big Homunculus. 'One hundred percent, dawg, I think he's got everything it takes,' the Commissioner told editors. 'Everybody better watch their back for that Lieutenant because I come from a hard-working parent, and I know what kind of passion putting food on that table can inspire. He's coming fo' you, ni**as.'
Max Ironside's confrontation with Barron Boneius was... unique, to put it lightly. 'The Sworn Enemy of Good' could not keep with Ironside's resilience this week, and Max had his beautiful wife Rayna ringside there to witness his first victory in the next chapter of his life. Bret mentioned that he could see finally getting what he's been craving and surprising everyone in the end.

Priscilla and the Prince made perhaps the most unique impression on the entire world with their debut this past Tuesday night. It could be that they have found the perfect modus operandi to dupe and dodge around the federation and its competitors, as showcased in their performance against Ruxx Rampede. Neither Bret nor Booker made any type of comment regarding these two, although was it out faith to win or in hopes they don't?
It will always be: Athena was victorious in the first-ever match in Alberta Wrestling Federation history, against Kendrick Kross. Their match was back-and-forth and hard fought, but it was her unexpected and stunning execution of the Off With Her Head finishing maneuver that called game. This was Commissioner Booker's other pick for a potential sleeper in the tournament, recommending to the rest of the participants to not take her lightly.
Sasha Foote's performance in the first ever AWF main event will never be forgotten, and not only for that reason alone. It was a personal battle that saw a veteran prove why experience almost always wins out. The fans fell in love with her and her family story and next week she continues on her path to try to solidify that her return from retirement was all worth it.

Even without competing or making an in-person appearance on the program itself, the Three Halves of the Best Friends made quite the lasting impression on the minds of the AWF faithful. Full of comedy and mystery, this trio seems ready to run rampant on the mean streets of Manitoba - or wherever the hell we are. Chuckie T & Trentie B will meet the Dracislav in AWF's first-ever tag team match next week in both team's in-ring debuts; Orange Cassidy has a shot to qualify into the AWF Provincial Championship tournament.
In this week's match of the week, Rockstar Spud was one move away from still being the AWF World's Championship tournament - perhaps literally. It was either superb instincts, long-term experience, or both that felled Spud to Raging Dead, but nonetheless it was in no way a loss to be ashamed of for any cause. Commissioner Booker mentioned something about a rematch down the road, and went on record to voice high expectations for the Rockstar's ceiling within the federation.

Barron Boneius might have lost the battle, but we doubt he's finished his side of the war. With Snivley and focus by his side, the Barron gave moments of great tact and effective brutality. His impressive actions would sometimes prove too impressive for his attention, and Snivley got stomped more than grapes at a winery, but all the foundation for a devious duo with an important advantage lays in play.
Tony Savage not only captivated with his expert eatery of Kobe beef steak, but his rhetoric as well. A man of class and proud of it, he proved that he can move rather well even in a suit as he thwarted Phil Goode's attempt to make a name for himself at the expense of Max & Rayna Ironside. Savage makes his in-ring debut next week against Goode, the winner advancing to the first round of the AWF Provincial Championship at AWF Gold Rush.
