Cher had never been out of North America before joining AWF. Germany was definitely like being on an alien planet for the young french girl.
She still wasn't over the fiasco in Budapest with Laci Valentine. In fact the incident had left her slightly confused about her sexuality entirely.
Victoire had insisted they visit some of the sites and had signed them up for a tour, but Cher was finding it hard to focus on any of it.
"Stop chewing your nails, it's disgusting." Victoire whispers harshly into Cheriè's ear.
She looks up at her "bigger" sister as if she had forgotten where they were. Her hands drop to her sides.
"What is up with you?" Vic asks.
All of a sudden, Cher turns, looking up at Vic in earnest and asks, "Do you think I'm gay now?"
A few of the other tourists look at the pair now, surprised eyes. Then the hushed whispers begin. Vic takes her sister to the side, out of earshot of the others.
"This is not the time to be discussing such things Cher. Can't we talk about this once we return to the hotel?"
Cher shakes her head. "I can't get it out of my head."
Victoire sighs. As a lesbian woman she did understand what it felt like to feel confused by her sexuality. However, she didn't have reason to believe that Cheriè had switched teams.
"Because you liked the kiss? So you feel guilty about that?"
The young blonde nods.
"It doesn't mean you're gay, or even bi, Ma Cheriè. It was just a kiss, it proves nothing, except that Laci Valentine is a good kisser. Shall we call Rockstar Spud and ask for notes to compare?"
Cher's eyes go wide and she shakes her head vehemently.
"Well, then just see it how it is. Just a kiss. I am sure Laci feels the same way."
Victoire urges Cheriè to rejoin the group. As they are walking, Cher seems to get more out of her own head.
"What did that Robbie guy want from you? He knows you only like Muff right? Plus he's soooooo old..."
"None of your business Cheriè. It was a private conversation."
The smaller of the two looks appalled.
"You never keep secrets from me! I'm your other half!"
Once again, more wide eyes and whispers.
"Cher. I mean it. Lay off." She stares down menacingly at her twin. "He asked me for a favour and also asked me not to say anything to anyone."
"Are you saying you... can't trust me?"
Victoire nods her head. "Yes. That's exactly what I am saying. I let you do all the talking for us when it comes to wrestling because you are good at it, when it comes to real life stuff, you still have a lot to learn. I trust you with my life Cheriė, but this is not something you need to know. Perhaps after everything is over, you will understand why."
The two continue the tour. The tour guide speaks in a heavily accented english about some of the items on display in this museum. Of course Cher is not one to let anything go.
"Is he setting you up on a date or something?"
Finally Victoire has had enough of the judgemental stares from the rest of the group.
"I'm gay. She's straight and we are sisters not lovers. Stop judging us like any of you have room to cast any stones."
She then spins so that she is standing directly in front of her sister.
"You are a dog with a bone, aren't you? Look, it's a personal thing for Mr.McMay. He asked me to help because of the nature of the thing. Just trust me, it isn't anything nefarious, and I will tell you everything once I can. Now can we continue this tour? Please?"
Cher nods, biting her cheek in guilt for pushing so hard.
They continue the tour but Victoire is smart to keep Cheriè and herself near the back. Cher could be unpredictable and even after her speaking to her, she was likely to bring up the issue again.
"What didn't he ask me? I can help with stuff."
Victoire rolls her eyes. "You are proving you can't help with anything, Ma Petite."
She crosses her arms over her chest, "I hate when you call me that."
"Quit pushing or I'll only call you that for the rest of this tour."
"Fine! You win. Gawd. I hate you sometimes."
Victoire smiled, satisfied. She was probably the only one that knew how to pacify her sister. She was of course the only one that never underestimated her either, which made her a very dangerous opponent in a ring. She was hoping to get a win this time.
