GrayFoote Gyms was a chain of workout facilities owned and operated by retired wrestler, Gray Malone, and Sasha Foote. The chain had a few locations around the United States, and this most recent one that would be opening its doors to the public soon was located in Chicago, Illinois. With all of the maintenance done, and the grand opening to be in the coming weeks, newly signed talent to Alberta Wrestling Federation, former world champion, Sasha Foote was there finishing up some paperwork in the office. Of course, Foote was alone, as the gym wasn't yet open to the public.
After locking her office door, she heads out to take one final look at the wrestling ring. She stops dead in her tracks when she sees someone standing in the ring, their back to her.
Sasha: "Hello? We aren't open yet, I must have left the front door unlocked by accident."
The Detroit native takes a few additional steps towards the ring but then stops again, feeling a chill go through her body. She brushes her dark hair out of her eyes, as whoever was in the ring had yet to turn around and acknowledge her.
Sasha: "Excuse me, you can't be in here. We aren't open to the public."
Roderick Kross: "Not open for the public, but toots I am the public. I’m the speaker of the people themselves."
He slowly turns around to reveal himself.
Roderick Kross: "You think trying to make a fool out of me on social media was going to go unpunished. You’re sadly mistaken. What a shame that I have to ruin your 'grand opening'."
Sasha now immediately recognizes the man as the one she had traded barbs with on social media, 'The Dublin Messiah' Roderick Kross.
Sasha: "Trying to make a fool out of you? I was just letting you know that your path to that championship just got a little tougher. Is that a reason for you to walk into my closed gym and threaten me? Because if you want to play those games, I'm more than ready to show you that the only mistake here was made by you."
Foote creeps closer to the ring, but for some reason again her feet fail her as she was just about five feet from the ring apron. She looks up at him with anger in her eyes.
Sasha: "Get out of my ring and my gym, now!"
Roderick Kross: “Get out of your ring? Bitch do you understand who you’re talking to? You need to understand something. The people, my children, will listen to me and my words. You have been out of the game for what a couple of years now? Who is honestly going to root for you? You’re washed up. Everyone knows this, even your daughter knows it."
At the mention of her daughter, Sasha's face immediately turns red.
Sasha: "Excuse me? Okay, that's it..."
Foote makes it to the ring apron and hops onto it before climbing into the ring. If there was any tentativeness earlier, it was gone now. She walks up to him, slightly looking up at the man who was just a few inches taller than her.
Sasha: "If you EVER mention my daughter again, I promise you, the little Twitter arguments will be nothing. I'm a world champion kickboxer, and a former world champion wrestler. You might be tough, but guess what? I've played with the boys all my life and you don't scare me."
Roderick Kross: "I don’t scare you? Well it looks like I did. Just the slight mention of your daughter as really set you over the edge? Man if it’s that easy? I wonder what other dirt I can find out about you?"
He smirks and walks by her but then stops and turns around to hand her a photograph.
Roderick Kross: "If I were you, I would think very carefully on your next move. I doubt Brittany will like how weak minded you are."
He begins walking again, exiting the ring before exiting the closed facility, leaving Sasha in the ring to stare at the picture of her eleven year old daughter as tears well up in her eyes.
